Elizabeth graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge with a BA Hons in Classics (1st Class). For her final exams, she split her modules between the Classics and English departments. She stayed on to complete an MPhil in Children’s Literature, which allowed her to spend much of her time doing what she loves most: reading!
She has previously spent time as a live-in tutor, homeschooling a 10-12yr old, and now works part-time in a Preparatory School in South London. Alongside her teaching, she is pursuing a career in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and is currently studying at the Tavistock and Portman.
Elizabeth has been privately tutoring/mentoring for over six years, working with students between the ages of 4-18. She offers 11+ and Common Entrance preparation, Latin, Greek and Classics to GCSE, and English literature and Language for all levels. She can also offer interview practice, from 11+ to Oxbridge Admissions.
‘My aim is to help each child fulfil their potential, through building individual confidence alongside academic ability – since the two often go hand in hand. With an appreciation that there is no one-size-fits-all method, and by working together as a team, I hope to help develop both new understanding and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.’
