Helen graduated from the University of Exeter with a 1st class degree in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry. She then went on to fulfil her life ambition to become a teacher and completed a PGCE at the University of Cambridge. Now with over 10 years of teaching experience of GCSE and A Level Chemistry, Helen has enabled her students to achieve their goals too. After 8 years as Head of Chemistry, Helen’s passion for teaching and learning has driven her career into coaching and mentoring teachers across all disciplines. Helen likes to work through solutions with students, modelling and scaffolding answers until students feel confident to do it alone.
