Holly is a Zoology graduate with a first-class degree and a commendation for exceptional academic performance. After completing her undergraduate degree, she jumped straight into a PhD in Biological sciences, which she has recently completed.
Throughout her PhD, Holly helped supervise many undergraduate and master’s degree students. She also gave several lectures throughout the years, exploring the evolution of the human language and how we can attempt to disentangle its evolutionary trajectory using animal communication systems. She has also been tutoring GCSE and A level students through their exam preparation, with glowing feedback from both pupils and parents. Helping students has been one of her favourite parts of the PhD experience, making sure students not only succeed, but have fun with the process and feel inspired. Holly is an enthusiastic teacher who is very dedicated to ensuring individuals feel supported and listened to.
Currently, Holly is applying for graduate medicine, alongside training to be part of Mountain Rescue. Outside of this, Holly is a keen endurance triathlete and a classical musician.
