Jack graduated from the University of Oxford with an MEng in Engineering Science, specialising in robotics, electronics, software and control. In his A Levels, he achieved A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics.
Jack is committed to supporting the next generation of aspiring STEM students, confident that with the right foundations, anyone can acquire the skills to thrive technically. His approach to tutoring emphasises guided problem solving, based on the conviction that students learn most effectively when encouraged to find the solution for themselves, with assistance offered where necessary. He is available to tutor Mathematics and Physics at both GCSE and A Level.
Alongside his studies, Jack has remained active in a variety of sports. While at university, he earned Full Blue status in both rugby league and rugby union – the highest sporting honour available to an Oxford student. Originally from Cornwall, he enjoys an outdoor lifestyle and spends much of his time on the water, boating and surfing.
