Jon graduated from the University of Leeds and has a first-class honours degree in Mathematics. His experience in education spans almost 20 years, including roles as Teacher of Mathematics, Head of Mathematics and Head of Year in both state and independent schools. He has also trained mathematics teachers in collaboration with schools and universities. Jon has taught GCSE/IGCSE Mathematics, A Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and during the Covid pandemic developed strong skills in remote and hybrid teaching.
With many years working as a private tutor for pupils aged 11–20, Jon takes pride in helping students grow in confidence and achieve the grades they deserve.
