Marie is a professional French and Spanish tutor, with more than 20 years experience preparing students of all ages and abilities for their exams and professional qualifications. Marie holds a Masters in ‘Teaching French as a Foreign Language’ from Toulouse-Le-Mirail University in France, and a post-graduate degree in teaching foreign languages from the Universidad Autonomy de Barcelona in Spain. She then spent 10 years living in Spain teaching language courses.
Now based in the UK, Marie holds a PGCE in Modern Languages (French & Spanish) from Oxford Brookes University, and has taught both languages up to A level in both the private and state sector. This experience has guided Marie towards a holistic approach where students will be encouraged to use the target language from the beginning to give them the confidence and create genuine communicative opportunities.
