Sally has a First Class Honours Degree in Mathematics and Education and a doctorate, in which she specialised in a branch of statistics. Sally taught Maths for 20 years and has extensive experience and success as a tutor too. She was Head of Maths at Bradfield College, an independent boarding school where she taught A level, the IB Diploma and IGCSE. Following this she was became Headteacher at a UK Academy school. At the higher ability end, Sally is excellent at helping pupils achieve 8/9s or A*s in Maths and Further Maths and Level 7 in IB Standard Level by ensuring that students really understand the theory and that they are able to apply it to solve a range of problems. Equally, she is talented at supporting students who struggle with maths as she is able to break the theory down in to manageable chunks and will steadily develop a pupil’s confidence so that sustained progress is made.
