Sophie has since gained her PGCE via Teach First’s Leadership Development Programme and spent three years teaching English to secondary school students, from ages 11 to 18.
As a professional tutor, Sophie has extensive experience assisting tutees to get top grades in their English language and literature GCSEs. She has an enthusiasm for teaching and believes that every child, in spite of any possible barriers towards learning, deserves a fair opportunity to be able to succeed. As a Teach First teacher, she also has experience working with students who possess a range of special educational needs and disabilities, such as dyslexia, EAL, autism and speech, language and communication needs.
